Marc holds a title of Privatdozent for the topic of Agroecology at the University of Hohenheim. He is involved in teaching, training and research activities with the Institute of Agricultural Sciences in the Tropics (Hans-Ruthenberg-Institute, 490), working mainly with the workgroups 490 g, e, f and c. Marc is working for the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL, as a senior scientist in the Department of International Cooperation. Here, he is program coordinator for the SysCom long term trials in Bolivia, Kenya and India (https://systems-comparison.fibl.org/), and co-coordinating projects on sustainable oil palm and coconut production and value chain development in Ivory Coast. A number of Master students and PhD scholars from Hohenheim are currently involved in these projects under Marc’s co-supervision.
